My name is Allison Morris Fadden. I am a Rye, New York based graphic designer with a degree in Graphic Design and Art History from Boston University. I began my career in a small design studio in London working mostly on projects for the music industry. Once home, I spent the next ten years working in the fashion industry. I've held graphic design positions at Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Gap. I left the corporate world when my daughters were born and have done many pro bono design projects and freelance work here in my community throughout the years.

ALLISONVILLE is the home of my freelance graphic design business.

You will be able to browse through an archive of my portfolio here. The LOVES section will be a forum to share just that - things I love. An eclectic variety of design, art, music, people, places, & things. As well as a place to showcase new projects I will be working on. So why ALLISONVILLE? 

• The word itself first came into my world when I was on a work research trip scouring for vintage t-shirts and I came across this heather grey beauty with a navy graphic that said ALLISONVILLE Explorers. Perfect distressing, funky typography, triangle symbolism - It's one of my favorites!
  
  
  

• I like my name. There are an army of Allisons (& all her variations) out there. In my town alone I think I know about seven and they are all awesome women.
  
  
  

• What's in a name? Well the name ALLISON means "little truthful one". It's a trait that I deeply value. One of the great blisses in my life is being a practitioner of kundalini yoga where the mantra is sat nam which means "truth is my name". So in every sense of the word I find it fitting. And VILLE is definitely a shout out to community. The places we live, the homes and lives we create for ourselves, and the ties that bind us wherever we may be.
